Event Details

Nashville Film Festival (NaFF) is a cultural arts institution that brings the world to Nashville — filmmakers, celebrities, musicians, screenwriters, film fans and media — in an annual celebration of the art of motion pictures. NaFF also offers year-round film education programming. Founded in 1969 by Mary Jane Coleman as the Sinking Creek Film Celebration, the organization’s signature event is the 10-day April film festival.

Presented by Nissan, NaFF is the longest-running film festival in the South. It is an Academy Award Qualifying Event in three short film categories and many films have gone on to win Oscar nominations or wins after screening at NaFF. NaFF is deeply invested in launching the careers of filmmakers, screenwriter, and musicians. Through NaFF Launch Pad, NaFF selects and sends talented creatives to L.A. for the interviews of their lifetime.
